Bilingual album "Songs + Canciones I" by Maria del Pilar prominently displays Latin pop charm to English songs.
With a mixture of English and Spanish lyrics the appeal of this album has a large range and captures the attention of many different listeners.
Song "I'm not awake" carries strong lyrics such as "I don't want to be a prisoner," with a magnificent instrumentals to accompany making for a spectacular song.
A duet with Gepe on "Huaso de Angelitos" showcases a diversity in the talent of Pilar seemlessly merging both voices together for an ingenious melodic song.
"Things are falling apart" is another song with English lyrics that has a Latin pop aspect that comes through and dominates. A slower song that utilizes the power incredible vocals of Pilar.
Her first single "Motivation" is a bit of a tease as to the magnificent sound that the album holds in store through out its eight tracks. It's an English track that's a bit calm yet quite enjoyable to listen to.
The second song released from the album is a Spanish track entitled "En el Dance floor" which is is the other side of the coin to this album. This song is danceable and quite full of rhythm which will have listeners moving to the beat.
The entire album is good but leaves listeners wanting more, a good thing "Songs + Canciones II" is already in production.
"Songs + Canciones I" is available on Amazon and iTunes now. A short eight track album which has diversity with slow and fast beat songs, as well as Spanish and English lyrics.
