Grammy nominated band Locos por Juana, presents Afro Kumbé Mixtape Vol 1. A musical collection of original remixes of songs from the likes of M.I.A., Kanye West, and Jay-Z using Afro-Caribbean and Afro-Colombian rhythms such as cumbia, chande, and champeta fused with electronic elements such house, Hip-Hop, ragga, breakbeats and dub step creating an eclectic sound.
Afro Kumbé is a DJ collective from Miami that was formed in 2010 by bandmates, Itagüi, Mark Kondrat, and Javier Delgado. The ideas was to create a platform to display their talents as producers and remixers; hence, the idea to perform as a live interactive DJ set with percussions gave birth to Afro Kumbé.
Afro Kumbé was voted best Dj Set by Miami New Times in 2010 and they spun at the Latin Grammy After Party in 2012.
