The videos are the final product of a semester-long project by students in introductory Sociology courses. The project is designed to allow the students an opportunity to apply their sociological imagination. ELAC Professor Eileen Ie directed the students who made the film.
The videos are meant to inform, educate, and entertain viewers on labor topics relating to global stratification, social class in the U.S., gender, and race/ethnicity.
The admission to the VPAM and all events is free. These three opening receptions will offer free food and drinks. There will also be a treasure hunt with prizes for those who participate.
The Associate Student Union at ELAC sponsors the evenings events in hopes of brining more students and people from the community to the VPAM.
Save the date, May 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. to come and support the VPAM and students of ELAC.
Many thanks to ASU for their sponsorship of this event!
