"Listening to Bosnian Rainbows' first album made me think of the paradox about unstoppable forces and immovable objects - as in, "What happens when Omar Rodriguez Lopez (At The Drive In, Mars Volta ) leads a band alongside Teri Gender Bender (Le Butcherettes)?" Both powerful and iconoclastic performers, the two somehow join together without crowding each other out" - Jasmine Garsd - NPR First Listen
Bosnian Rainbows' self-titled debut album can now be heard streaming in its entirety at NPR 'First Listen'.
Preceded by the recently unveiled and "thoroughly enjoyable" (DIFFUSER) third single "Morning Sickness", the album stream comes a week before the record's US release date of June 25th, on Sargent House.
The band continues to garner critical acclaim both for their live performances as they continue on through their impressive world tour and for their first single Torn Maps, which just appeared on NPR's list of their 50 favorite songs of 2013 so far.
"Omar Rodríguez-López is famously talented and difficult to work with. Teri Gender Bender is famously fierce. When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, amazing music comes out." -- NPR
"The fact that the band have been constantly on tour since their inception in 2012 shines through as the four-piece instantly come together like a tightly honed machine."--THE CLASH (UK)
"they are approaching their greatly anticipated album release with emerging ferocity and gripping showmanship."-- AUSTINIST
"they have crafted a live show that can really hook an audience...highly satisfying and leaves the audience wanting more."-- HOUSTON PRESS
"Bosnian Rainbows are a true must-see.... top-notch from start to finish. No encore, no bows, just rock." -- ON TOUR MONTHLY
