Los Angeles, Calif. (June 27, 2013) - Red Bull Music Academy Panamérika is thrilled to announce an invite-only live performance featuring all-star indie/alternative band Bosnian Rainbows. The concert is scheduled to take place this Friday, June 28 at Los Globos in Silver Lake, CA.
The special event will be produced by Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) Panamérika, one of the largest resources for curated cutting-edge music on the web, in partnership with other two key players in the music scene: leading lifestyle Los Angeles magazine L.A. Canvas and Marshall Audio, a true legend in music amplification.
The event will entice concert goers into the exploration of Bosnian Rainbows' remarkable music in a friendly and warm setting. The much anticipated performance was announced last night viaPanamérika's Twitter, @Panamerika and website http://redbull.Panamerika.fm. The only way to attend the private free showcase is via RSVP or invite and it is planned to start at 7:00pm and finish at 10:00pm.
Bosnian Rainbows is comprised of renowned bandmates, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (Mars Volta),Teri Gender Bender (Le Butcherettes), Deantoni Parks (Mars Volta) and Nicci Kasper (KRS-ONE).The four-piece ensemble is no less adventurous or fearless than the music the four of them have previously released. The reference points are wild and varied: early 80s post-punk and new wave, corrosive synth-pop, and Peter Gabriel's "So" album being a noteworthy influence.
Bosnian Rainbows, who released their acclaimed self-entitled debut album earlier this week, have been on the road consistently since August 2012 touring extensively in North America, Europe, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. They made their U.S. festival debut at last September'sFun Fun Fun Fest, and appeared at Festival Vive Latino at Mexico City's Foro Sol Stadium in March 2013.
