With the ABSOLUT Open Canvas initiative, ABSOLUT empowers an extraordinary group of contemporary artists to transform an unlikely setting – the street & structure of Divisadero Street (between Hayes and Grove) – into an interactive outdoor art exhibition. A reminder that we can all transform our present and future if we adapt a daring spirit and use creativity to stretch everyday reality from the mundane to the extraordinary – TRANSFORM TODAY.
In the spirit of the this one of a kind project, RemezcLAB will be ON THE BLOCK, celebrating with emerging DJs who share our vision for leaving their mark on Latin culture in order to fuse art and music for a one night only experience. Among this lineup are legendary Mexican Producer/DJ Toy Selectah (Calle 13, 3Ball MTY, Gustavo Cerati, Celso Piña), Gold selling artists and DJ duo Nina Sky (Fader, MTV Iggy), Moombahton founding father Dave Nada, and Oro11 and Deejay Theory of local latin party Tormenta Tropical.
