Louis Cannizzaro, better known as artist Louis xxx, passionately puts all he has into creating wonderful yet simplistic paintings accompanied by hand-written words that set him apart.
"I'm a half-way good writer and a half-way good painter, but put them together and I am better than 10 others," Cannizzaro said, "I would say one doesn't work without the other."
The short and romantic poems in every drawing capture not just a mood but a brief moment in time. Those words which accompany the paintings lead a viewer to ponder in happy amazement at the truly touching words.
The art can have many interpretations and is made so it can be imperfect. The style is there for effect because most of the art and words are Cannizzaro's first thought and just work through the night to finish it.
