A grand celebration was underway with Los Angeles City Mayor Eric Garcetti speaking about the park being such a landmark.

The opening of the new attraction brought out the stars of the "Despicable Me" Miranda Cosgrove, who plays Margo, Dana Gaier, who plays Edith, and Elsie Fisher, who plays Agnes.
The ride emerges the visitors into the world of "Despicable Me" like they have never been.
