MONSTER ENERGY’S CAROLINA REBELLION
CELEBRATES YEAR FOUR WITH
RECORD BREAKING WEEKEND ATTENDANCE OF OVER 60,000
MID-ATLANTIC’S BIGGEST ROCK FESTIVAL
HIGHLIGHTED BY PERFORMANCES FROM
KID ROCK, AVENGED SEVENFOLD,
ROB ZOMBIE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH AND MANY MORE
Monster Energy’s Carolina Rebellion celebrated its fourth year with record breaking attendance of over 60,000 during the May 3 & 4 festival at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. In addition, all camping, hotel and VIP packages were SOLD OUT.
The mid-Atlantic’s biggest rock festival featured performances from Avenged Sevenfold and Kid Rock, along with Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch and many more. For fans with camping or hotel packages, the weekend kicked off with the Friday Night Campground Party, presented by Bud Light and The FOX in Charlotte.
Ivan Moodyof Five Finger Death Punch said, “We play a ton of shows every year and to be honest it can all become a blur and kind of start running together. That said, big festival shows like Carolina Rebellion stand out and are really special to us. Sharing the stage with legends like Rob Zombie,Volbeat, Kid Rock, Hellyeah and others is such a rush! Not only that, we also get the opportunity to hang with the extended festival family (promoters, crews, friends) and most importantly, the fans. Thank you all, we will be back!”
In her positive review of Monster Energy’s Carolina Rebellion, Courtney Devores of the Charlotte Observer noted, “The sunny, breezy weather couldn’t have been more perfect for Carolina Rebellion’s return to Concord…the music – the most important part – delivered loud and clear, on time and with energy” [May 4, 2014].
“We went into this year’s event knowing that we really needed to over-deliver on all levels for the fans,” commented Joe Litvag, Co-Executive Producer of the festival for AEG Live. “Not only was the weather absolutely perfect all weekend, but every artist brought an incredible amount of positive energy to the stage, and we were finally able to bring the Rebels the over-the-top show that they deserved.”
