ANAHEIM, CA, August 18, 2014 - Thousands of restaurant owners/operators and food service professionals packed into the Anaheim Convention Center for the opening day of the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo taking place this week. In addition to 475 exhibiting companies, the Expo is packed with exciting special events including the Food Trends Experience with 75 companies offering tastings of new foods and beverages; the Culinary Clash: Battle Anaheim presented by Coca Cola, a cooking competition fundraiser benefiting the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the California Craft Brewers Association Pavilion, the US Foods Demonstration Stage and much more. As seen below, thousands of restaurant and foodservice professionals had the opportunity to see, taste, discover and learn about the new culinary innovations that will inspire creative and fresh menu ideas.

The Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo will run on Monday, August 18 from 11 am - 5 pm and again on Tuesday, August 19 from 11 am - 4 pm. The event is co-located with Expo Comida Latina, the largest Hispanic food and beverage trade event in North America.
