The fastest-growing performing rights society in the world, SESAC Latina was an official sponsor of this ceremony, which took place at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach.
The renowned singer, songwriter, producer and actor Jencarlos Canela received the La Musa 2014 Conquistador Award for his important contributions to the Latin music industry as a vocalist and for his prolific, creative work as a singer-songwriter.
In special acoustic presentation, Jencarlos performed his songs Amor Quedate y Tu Sombra, which concluded with a standing ovation by the audience and a heartfelt thank you by Jencarlos to Rudy Perez, the first producer to sign him as an artist.

Meanwhile, Jencarlos Canela is promoting his latest studio album, titled JeN (Universal Music), while delighting fans as a leader and coach of his own team on the popular Univisión reality show Va Por Ti. He'll wrap up 2014 on a high note, as he kicks off a concert tour before year's end.
Furthermore, the SESAC Latina-affiliated singer-songwriter Erika Ender, was also on hand to give a spectacular performance of Panama's National Anthem to dazzling effect at the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame's tribute to the Panamanian composer Omar Alfanno. Alfanno was one of four inductees this year.
