Blumhouse brought chills, thrills and drinks to "Insidious" fans as they presented the frightening trailer for "Insidious Chapter 3" at the The Theater at Ace Hotel on March 17.
The anticipation for the first look at the trailer grew as the night progressed.
Producer Jason Blum and writer-director Leigh Whannell spoke about the "Insidious" franchise as Fandango's Tifanny Smith moderated the discussion.
Blum talked about the trust he has in Whannell to create a frightening story to push "Insidious" to a new level. He was thrilled at how amazing the cast and crew were and surprised at how much fun a horror movie set was.
Whannell talked about being the writer of "Insidious" and then moving into the directing chair to direct "Insidious 3." He said it was a challenge to follow James Wan, but with the support of Blum and the cast it became a fun experience.Singer-writer Conway performed her rendition of "Tiptoe through the tulips."
The classic song got an creepy tone which fit with the horror film well.
Conway performed more songs after the Q&A with Blum and Leigh.
