"Hot Pursuit" actress Evaluna Montaner performed and signed autographs at Fiesta Broadway in downtown Los Angeles, California on April 26.
The young singer-actress, daughter of Latin singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner, makes her theatrical debut in upcoming film "Hot Pursuit."
"My character in the movie is a quinceañera, a Mexican quinceañera in the movie," Evaluna Montaner said. "I was super excited to play (the role) because, one, I had never had a quince before. So, that was a cool experience, to kind of feel what it was like. Two, it was awesome to know that I was in a movie with Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara."
Evaluna Montaner sang and met with fans at the "Hot Pursuit" booth, where she signed autographs and took photos.
She was able to promote her part in the movie and share her excitement for its release.
"It is so funny. I already watched it and I really cracked up," Evaluna Montaner said. "I kind of forgot that I was in it and I was just enjoying the movie. It was really amazing."
She was able to promote her first movie by performing in the Fiesta Broadway stage and engage with fans at the booth.
"Hot Pursuit" comes out in theaters May 8 and stars Witherspoon and Vergara.
Evaluna Montaner is a singer and plays a small role, but is thankful to have made the film alongside the two actresses.
Evaluna Montaner said, "Having these two amazing women as my first experience, in the first movie I was in, (is great). Plus, it's not like I can say I was in a movie, but it wasn't that good. I think it's really really good, so that makes me super, super happy."
An uptight and by-the-book cop (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow (Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.
This film has been rated PG-13 for sexual content, violence, language and some drug material.
