Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Circus XTREME features artists who redefine the word extreme in everything they do, magnifying traditional elements of the circus and combining them with never-before-seen spectacles, original fast-paced performances and incredibly hilarious moments.

- The extraordinary talent that can only be seen at Ringling Bros. Presents Circus XTREME features:
- Ringmaster David Shipman is the XTREME tour guide who takes audiences anywhere and everywhere on an adventure to discover the most extraordinary circus artists the world has to offer. David not only announces each performance, he also sings the amazing soundtrack of this youthful, energetic production.
- Exuberantly funny duo Alex and Irina navigate towering peaks and extreme terrain to discover the world’s best artists and performers. Their “Dogs of the City” display shows off the talent of their 16 performing poodles.
- With a fiery flash, human cannonball Gemma “The Jet” amazes audiences as she rockets over 100 feet across the arena sky experiencing seven G’s, encountering the same G-forces usually experienced only by fighter pilots and astronauts. At only 25 years old, Gemma is the youngest human cannonball in the world.
- Choreographed chaos describes a one-of-a-kind display of Freestyle Sports that can only be seen at The Greatest Show On Earth®. Performers do incredible tricks on BMX bikes, gymnastic moves on tightly stretched “slackline” straps, acrobatics launched off trampolines through a 15-foot transparent tower and energetic freestyle running/parkour that has extreme circus artists bouncing, flipping and tumbling on, over and around the entire arena.
- Hailing from Chile, Tabajara Maluendo, facing 16 Bengal tigers, demonstrates his special bond with his animals that allows him to present an exciting and fast-paced performance. The mutual respect he shares with his tigers is evident as he cavorts around the ring with them, exclaiming his well-known catchphrase, “azucar!” which means “sugar” or “sweet.” In one of the act highlights, Taba does a hand stand as his tigers leap through his legs.
- Benny Ibarra presents an electrifying act on The Pendulum of Steel, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats as he flies high above the arena floor on a whirling wheel while executing forward and back flips and jumping rope. Ibarra defies gravity with bounding leaps that separate him from any solid footing and suspend him in space, both inside and outside the wheel with no safety harness.
- The exceptional performance of The Mongolian Marvels merges the ancient cultural style of the strongman, the delicate skill of contortion and pure circus magic of vaulting and acrobatics set to the unusual sound of a Mongolian throat-singer. The group effortlessly tosses members from hand to hand to form tall human pyramids and execute stunning flips and twists. The impressive strongmen lift massive weights and support multiple people using their arms, legs and even teeth. Contortionists balance and move their bodies into mind-bending formations, defying the laws of gravity and physiology.
- The Desert Goddesses and trainer Robert Stipka command a caravan of camels in the only act of its kind in the world. It is a fascinating and graceful display of dexterity as six female Mongolian riders perform intricate maneuvers while atop twin-humped camels.
- The Daring Danguir ascends more than two stories above the arena floor on a high-wire as narrow as a human thumb, negotiating dangerous stunts and displaying stunning footwork. The troupe tempts fate with seemingly impossible jumps, leaping over not one, not two, but a three person lineup, as well as a breath-taking one-man leap from one troupe member’s shoulder to another’s. For their final trick, the Danguir triumph over gravity by building a monumental four-person pyramid.
- Six Angelic Aerialists perform two artistic displays that are the epitome of grace and beauty. Talented artists from Russia and Ukraineperform an acro-ballet of bungee sky diving that is a mash-up of synchronized circus skills, made even more dramatic by performing under ultra-violet, blacklight in stunning fluorescent costumes. In their second appearance, a hanging, metallic orb suspended high above the arena floor provides the gymnastic apparatus for an original and thrilling aerial presentation.
- At The Greatest Show On Earth®, the special relationship between trainers and treasured Ringling Bros.® Asian Elephants is highlighted as each trainer shows off individual elephant’s natural skills and abilities. Part of the largest herd in North America, these leading ladies show off their moves such as dancing, kicking beach balls and twirling jump ropes in a choreographed display that cannot be seen anywhere but at Ringling Bros.
- Circus XTREME delivers maximum mayhem and merriment with the World Famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Clown Alley. Gymnastic jokers perform acrobatic comedy and hilarious parodies that are sure to amuse Children Of All Ages.
