HOPE FOR NEPAL
A Fundraiser To Rebuild/Rehydrate In The
Aftermath Of Nepal's Devastating Earthquake
Los Angeles based band The Cerny Brothers are proud to announce their performance at the upcoming benefit event Hope For Nepal.
The event, put on by c.nichols project and Danger Dogs from Nepal, will take place on July 19 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at c.nichols project (12613 ½ Venice Blvd, Mar Vista, CA 90066).
Hope For Nepal will directly benefit Waves for Water and Portal Shelters.

In addition, the band has confirmed an August residency at Harvard and Stone and will be appearing live at the Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series as well as West End Celebration in Monterey, CA.

The Cerny Brothers recently released their new album Sleeping Giant on May 12 via Krian Music Group.
The album was recorded at legendary Bear Creek Studios in Seattle with producers Jerry Streeter and Ryan Hadlock, who are known for their work with Brandi Carlile and The Lumineers.

Sleeping Giant signifies a new direction for the band, as the music has turned from an acoustic, folk element to a more electric, American rock sound while still keeping the folk spirit from their earlier work.
The songs on "Sleeping Giant" deal with becoming a man and finding identity in a constantly changing world, staying rooted in something that can be shaken but not moved, and realizing that we all have a sleeping giant inside of us waiting to be set free.
