As the Azalea Summer Concert Series came to a close on July 25 with "Fantastic Four" taking over bringing a fire dancer, MexicanGueys and social media sensation David Lopez.
MexicanGueys' co-founders Bryan Rojo and Jairo Orozco originally from the San Fernando Valley came to South Gate to attend the closing concert and be a part of "Fantastic Four" event.
"We are excited to come to South Gate, it's our first time here," Rojo said.
The live bands kept the audience entertained.
The excitement for the "Fantastic Four" movie grew with a special preview of the film along with character featurettes playing on an out door screen.
"I'm looking forward to seeing if this film is better than the original ones," Orozco said. "I've seen the original ones and I like them, but now that we have better and more advanced technology. I'm hoping that it's awesome."
Lopez born in Los Angeles, but now from San Diego attended as well to, along with MexicanGuey, raffle off two "Fantastic Four" prize packs.
"I'm super excited (to see the new movie). I'm glad they remade it," Lopez said. "I'm looking forward to the new storyline they came up with."
Being able to be a part of the closing night of the summer concert series was something Lopez looked forward to.
"I was excited," Lopez said. "Free tacos for the first 500 people, nice bands and 'Fantastic Four' it doesn't get better than that."
The special guests as well as the attendees were thrilled to have "Fantastic Four" at the summer concert series.
A fire dancer entertained attendees with a performance inspired by the human torch.
"Fantastic Four" opens in theaters August 7.
