Announces contestants in high profile singer songwriter competition

The Coffee Music Project is proud to announce the contestants who have been selected to participate in the competition's live preliminary round, which will take place Sept. 20 and 21 at Pianos NYC.
The competition launched with a bang, garnering hundreds of highly qualified applications from across the United States.

The 32 applicants chosen to move on to the live rounds include: Aaron Pfeiffer, Alec Chambers, Beecher's Fault, Bonsai, Cal Kehoe, Casey Buckley, Chloe Gasparini, Coyote and Crow, Daniel Bazan, Del Water Gap, Demi Grace, Elizabeth Hunter, Hillary Caps, Jay Troop, Jimmy Nash, Kara Ali, Khaya, Kirsten Izer, Nic Hanson, Odane Whilby, Phil Cohen, Polina, R&B, Robin's Egg Blue, Sarah Ali, Sierra Noble, Spider Cherry, Stephanie Manns, Tam, Thumbs, Underwater Country Club, and Valerie Orth.

One hundred precent of the profits support Project Waterfall in partnership with charity: water, bringing clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities.

The top 32 contestants have been selected to perform during the qualifying rounds, which will take place on Sept. 20 and 21 in the heart of the East Village at Pianos NYC.
From the qualifying rounds, 8 contestants will be selected to go through to the finals, which will take place at the prestigious Webster Hall on Sept. 23.
The winner of the competition will receive a $1,500 prize, a professional recording session and a guaranteed headline slot to perform at The New York Coffee Festival.
All eight finalists will also receive guaranteed slots to perform at The New York Coffee Festival, along with having one song featured on The Coffee Music Project NYC 2015 album.
THE CAUSE
The Coffee Music Project supports Project Waterfall, which is committed to bringing clean water and sanitation to the communities which grow our coffee. All profits from the live shows will directly support this valuable cause.
