The FearLab is a frightening experience which tests the senses and measures the participants heart rate to measure the fear level during the experience.
The small 4 person trailer that participants were put in, strapped into gurneys which were standing up and made to watch images and hear sounds which test the senses.
The experience lasted no more than 5 minutes with a heart rate monitor on the arm and a clip on the finger to measure the reaction to the experience.
A photo was taken and given to the participants at the ed with the information that was gathered on them.
Many who went through the experience came out with fear rates 40 - 100. With my fear rate at 10.
The clips are divided into test one: visual, test two: sound and test three: sensory overload.
Although the fear rate for me came out at 10, the feeling that the images brought made me feel like there was something in the room and that it would pop out at any moment, although nothing ever did.
"Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" is the culmination of the franchise where audiences will be able to see what is causing the activity.
"Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" opens in theaters Oct. 23.
