Kings Recall Defenseman Kevin Gravel from Ontario

The Los Angeles Kings have recalled defenseman Kevin Gravel from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced on Feb. 11.
In addition, defenseman Christian Ehrhoff cleared waivers and was assigned to Ontario.
Also, goaltender Peter Budaj has been recalled as an emergency recall.
The 23-year-old Gravel (born March 6, 1992) is a 6-4, 199-pound native of Kingsford, Mich. who appeared in 42 games this season with Ontario, posting 16 points (5-11=16), a plus-5 rating and 28 penalty minutes. He has yet to make his NHL debut.
Selected in the fifth-round (148th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Gravel has appeared in 105 career AHL games, collecting 31 points (11-20=31), a plus-17 rating and 53 penalty minutes. Gravel will wear number 53 for the Kings.
The 33-year-old Budaj (born Sep. 18, 1982) is a 6-1, 192-pound native of Banska Bystrica, Slovakia who has appeared in 38 games this season with Ontario.
At the time of his recall, he led the league in goals-against average (1.58), save percentage (.935), wins (26), shutouts (8), minutes (2,284:25), and ranked fourth in saves (862).
Selected in the second-round (63rd overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by Colorado, Budaj has appeared in 296 career NHL games with Colorado and Montreal, posting a record of 124-107-36 with a 2.76 goals against average, a .903 save percentage and 11 shutouts. Budaj will wear number 31 for the Kings.
The 33-year-old Ehrhoff (born July 6, 1982) is a 6-2, 201-pound native of Moers, Germany who has appeared in 40 games this season with the Kings, posting 10 points (2-8=10) and 32 penalty minutes.
Selected in the fourth-round (106th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by San Jose, Ehrhoff has appeared in 781 career NHL games with San Jose, Vancouver, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles, recording 338 points (74-264=338), a plus-49 rating and 515 penalty minutes.
The Kings continue their seven-game road trip tonight against the New York Islanders beginning at 4 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports West and KABC Radio 790.
