This movie isn't one that will be talked about for awards, but "London has Fallen" does make a political statement which is thought provoking.
Agent Mike Banning, played by Gerard Butler, is in London with the President of the United States of America Benjamin Asher, played by Aaron Eckhart, when a terrorist attack leaves them in a war zone.
Butler is unbelievable in this tim, but he looks the part. He looks strong and like he can take on a terrorist army. The look of determination is what will keep the audience interested.
Eckhart is a good partner for Butler to have on this journey as he has a way of looking prestigious even while in some extreme circumstances. The manner he delivers his lines with such conviction is stellar.
The high-action movie isn't meant to be taken as a glorious film which will change lives, but rather a good action film which can be enjoyed, which it does.
The action scenes are amazing and just the right extreme. If the audiences over thinks this movie they will be annoyed at some parts.
The ending is one of the most amazing parts. It's not just big with an amazing peak to the story, but the President delivers an amazing speech to start the final battle with the terrorist.
I give this action film a 3 out of 5 Popcorns. For an action film its great, theres not much to think about this story. Its unbelievable, but if an action story is true to life it wouldn't be as exciting. Take the movie for what it is, a one man army protecting the President from a relentless ruthless enemy that wants to kill the presidents at all means. It's not a movie that sticks with the audience after the movie has ended. It's not a movie that people will be discussing for months, it is a movie that an audience will enjoy and will thrill for a short while.
"London has Fallen" opens in theaters March 4.
