Kings Sign Forward Michael Amadio to a Three-Year Entry-Level Contract

The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Michael Amadio to a three-year entry-level contract, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced on March 13.
The 19-year-old Amadio (born May 13, 1996) is a 6-1, 190-pound native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario who has appeared in all 65 regular-season games this season with the North Bay Battalion (OHL), leading the team in goals (48; fourth league-wide), points (94; ninth league-wide), plus/minus (+25), power-play goals (nine) and shorthanded goals (seven; third league-wide), and ranks tied for first in assists (46).
A third-round (90th overall) selection of the Kings at the 2014 NHL Draft, Amadio has appeared in 260 regular-season games in four seasons in the OHL (all with the Battalion organization; North Bay/Brampton), recording 222 points (90-132=222), a plus-67 rating and 78 penalty minutes.
During the 2013-14 season, he helped lead the Battalion to the OHL championships, before falling in five games to the Guelph Storm.
The Kings start a two-game road trip tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. against the Chicago Blackhawks. The game will be broadcast on NBCSN and KABC Radio 790.
