ANZE KOPITAR NOMINATED FOR SELKE TROPHY AWARD
Los Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar was on April 28 nominated for the Frank J. Selke Trophy, the National Hockey League announced.
The Selke Trophy is awarded to the forward who excels in the defensive aspects of the game.
Kopitar was selected as a finalist for the Selke in 2015, 2014 and 2013. No Kings forward has won the Selke Trophy.
The other finalists this year are Patrice Bergeron (Bruins) and Ryan Kesler (Ducks).
