"YOU ARE GOING TO HATE THIS"
OUT NOW
Time is the only thing that keeps bringing The Frights down, so enough with the resting downtime.
The Frights have announced the SUMMER 2016 tour of North America, which will find Mikey, Richard and Marc caravanning across the fruited plains with with Hunny and Gym Shorts.
The Frights' SUMMER 2016 kicks off July 19 in Phoenix, AZ and will go on to hit more than 25 major cities, from sea to shining sea.
The tour will wrap up on August 23
in San Francisco, CA at Rickshaw Stop.
A full list of tour dates can be found below with tickets available now here.
With deadly live chops honed on their first national tour this winter, The Frights will first help detonate a rock bomb in Orange County for 'Two Nights, Not Enough Sleep' - the upcoming weekend extravaganza at The Observatory in Santa Ana on May 13 and 14 with FIDLAR, SWMRS and No Parents.
The Frights' dangerbird records debut album "You Are Going To Hate This" (produced by FIDLAR vocalist Zac Carper), released in February, delivers - from the trippily raw fever dream of "Puppy Knuckles" to the shimmering guitar lines and frank confessions of "Afraid Of The Dark".
Amoeba Music said The Frights "make music that's a lot smarter than it would appear. Beneath the bratty, corrosive surface lies a rare tunefulness and dedication to dialing up rock's past...startlingly great at kicking out the garagey jams."
The anthemic single "Kids," sports a hand-crafted music video that Interview Magazine praised as the "intersection of Keith Haring's artworks and Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo." Watch the official music video for "Kids".
Before hitting the road, The Frights join Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Wolfmother and more at Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista, CA for 91X X-Fest in their hometown of San Diego.
