The Los Angeles Film Festival 2016 is drawing near and movies are beginning to sell out, "Destined" makes its world premiere to an already sold out crowd during the festival. World premiere will take place on June 6 at 9 p.m. at the Arclight Culver City.
“Destined” tells the parallel stories of Sheed and Rasheed, portrayed by the same actor (Cory Hardrict), as they explore the idea of destiny as well as how the smallest incident can manifest itself into a life changing event.
Written and directed by Qasim Basir, “Destined” presents two possible outcomes, involving everything from street violence to corporate corruption.
Cory Hardrict delivers a breakout performance navigating his role in each world, demonstrating that on any path, the future is mutable and journey toward fulfilling your destiny is never simple.
Due to popular demand this movie will have a second screening on June 7 at 12:00 p.m. at the Arclight Culver City.
I happened to be lucky that my friend couldn't find a date for an event so he generously took me with him, which happened to be one of the best experience for me in recent times. I was lucky enough to see this place. If you get a chance to check these New York venues out please do so.
