LAIKA, el aclamado estudio de animación y creadores del próximo épico filme de aventura, Kubo and the Two Strings y la cual Focus Features estrena en los cines en EE.UU el 19 de agosto, presentará “From Coraline to Kubo: A Magical LAIKA Experience”.
Este innovador e interactivo evento por primera vez realizado demostrará un vistazo de cerca a los detalles artísticos y a la creatividad detrás de los 10 años de historia de creaciones e innovaciones cinematográficas de LAIKA que incluye los filmes nominados al Premio de la Academia Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012) y The Boxtrolls (2014).
Este evento especial se llevará a cabo en el Globe Theatre en Universal Studios Hollywood, del 5 al 14 de agosto y esta incluido con el precio de admisión al parque temático.
“From Coraline to Kubo: A Magical LAIKA Experience”, presentará la evolución de LAIKA y su animación única y mágicos efectos especiales que cobrarán vida en cuatro cuartos temáticos hechos con mucha imaginación. Situado en un Japón fantástico, Kubo and the Two Strings sigue el viaje de Kubo (cuya voz será de Art Parkinson), un niño muy inteligente y de buen corazón cuya existencia relativamente tranquila se quiebra cuando accidentalmente convoca a un espíritu de su pasado que baja rápidamente de los cielos para cumplir una antigua venganza. Fueled by the vision of President & CEO Travis Knight, feature film animation studio LAIKA celebrated its 10th anniversary in December, 2015. Located just outside Portland, Oregon, LAIKA was awarded a Science and Technology Oscar plaque in recognition of its innovation in 3D printing in 2016. Its three films, Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012), and The Boxtrolls (2014) were all nominated for Oscars® and PGA Awards as Outstanding Animated Film.
