Principal Photography on the Maika Monroe and Ed Skrein Starrer has begun in Serbia
Hercules Film Fund has come on-board to co-finance the Maika Monroe (Independence Day: Resurgence) and Ed Skrein (Deadpool) starrer "Tau" alongside Ken Kao’s Waypoint Entertainment.
Rhea Films will co-produce, with Terry Dougas and Jean-Luc De Fanti serving as executive producers.
Federico D’ Alessandro is directing the sci-fi thriller penned by Noga Landau, with principal photography taking place in Serbia.
D’Alessandro is the artist responsible for a number of Marvel’s most iconic visual sequences with credits including "Ant-Man," "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Iron Man 3."
David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, The Dark Knight trilogy) and Kevin Turen (The Birth of a Nation, 99 Homes, All is Lost, Arbitrage) are producing under their Phantom Four banner alongside Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder for Addictive Pictures.
"Tau" falls under Addictive’s Pictures’ first-look deal with Waypoint Entertainment. Ken Kao, Dan Kao and Luc Etienne will serve as executive producers.
