"We found out the reason the PMRC went after us is because kids knew who we were," frontman Blackie Lawless said in the article. "That's how they work. They go after bands that have visibility. They make it their mission to bring bands down, but I don't think they were very successful. To this day, what they did was get more kids into music than had they not said a thing.
