The Los Angeles Kings will be well-represented at the upcoming World Cup of Hockey 2016, the best-on-best international hockey championship which begins this month.
With six players participating and six staff members serving in various roles, the Kings are tied for third among all NHL clubs in terms of participants at the highly-anticipated event.

Eight teams – Team Canada, Team Czech Republic, Team Europe, Team Finland, Team North America, Team Russia, Team Sweden and Team USA – will compete in the two-week tournament, featuring more than 170 of the best players in the NHL. All tournament games will be played at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The official event dates are September 17 to October 1.
