Sweety High Artist Shines Performing In Front Of A-List Attendees At The Girls’ Lounge Dinner On Sept. 27
With a larger than life voice, 12-year-old Sweety High country music sensation, Tegan Marie, shined during her performance at The Girls' Lounge Dinner during Ad Week 2016 in New York City on Sept. 27.
The exclusive event, attended by over 1,000 of the world’s top female executives, gives visibility to females in the work force.
It also featured guest speakers Kim Kardashian, Kristin Chenoweth and Andy Cohen.
That night, Tegan Marie once again stunned the predominately female audience when she performed her current single “Lucky Me” along with her rendition of Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” - which has garnered over 17 million views on Facebook.
Not only does she represent girl power, but her impressive success signifies the coming-of-age of Gen Z (3-19 year olds) on the entertainment frontier.
Leading girls media company Sweety High, already known as authorities on the interests and buying power of this new guard, manage Tegan Marie.
Shelley Zalis, CEO, The Female Quotient and Creator of The Girls' Lounge, said, "The Girls' Lounge is all about experiential pairing and sharing. Our partnership with Sweety High is a true reflection of connecting today's and tomorrow's female leaders. Tegan Marie rocked the house with her confidence, grace and powerful voice. We are so proud to collaborate with Sweety High and make a difference in the world for girls today."
According to Sweety High Founder and CCO Veronica Zelle, Tegan Marie’s generation is due to make up approximately 40% of U.S consumers by 2020 with 93% influence on their parents’ purchasing powers.
The New York Times reports, “…these tweens and teens of today are primed to become the dominant youth influencers of tomorrow. Flush with billions in spending power, they promise untold riches to markets who can find the master key to their psyche.”
Sweety High has unlocked the door to this market. With 50 million all-encompassing video views this summer and over five million online engagements (likes, comments, shares) per month, Tegan Marie is swinging it open.
