“It is great to have First Run Features as our distributor in the United States,” producer Peter Raymont, president of White Pine Pictures, said. “The timing of this film is very important in the ever changing climate of the 24 hour news cycle that we all live in. We feel that First Run is a great distribution partner to get this out to as many people as possible.”
The Los Angeles Times hailed the film as “a timely, convincing documentary that will cause audiences to question what they see and read.” And IndieWire adds“ the film takes on the inherent flaws of the modern news media and how they are increasingly reluctant to investigate or criticize government policies."
FRF is planning to release the film in early 2017.
The deal was negotiated by Marc Mauceri of FRF and Steve Ord, COO of White Pines Pictures.
