INTRODUCING... ACROSS THE ATLANTIC
SAN ANTONIO BAND SIGNS TO SHARPTONE RECORDS, RELEASES VIDEO FOR "PLAYING FOR KEEPS"
DEBUT ALBUM WORKS OF PROGRESS OUT SEPTEMBER 1
San Antonio, Texas newcomers ACROSS THE ATLANTIC have signed to SharpTone and have released the official music video for the brand new single "Playing For Keeps."
The song will live on their upcoming label debut (and second album) Works of Progress, which arrives on Sept. 1.
Consider this your introduction to the band, which is poised for big things in the coming year and beyond.
The band packs a one-two wallop of pop-punk hooks and hardcore energy into undeniable arena-size anthems.
It's the perfect mix of sweet choruses and savory hard rock.
"'Playing for Keeps' is the stepping stone connecting our last album Holding on to What We Know to Works of Progress. It's an ode to the amazing journey we've traveled as an independent band over the last five years but also about now looking forward to our future," the band said.
"For a long time, we thought we would never catch our break. Investing everything into something that doesn't immediately perform as you would like it to is one of the biggest gut checks life can give you," the band said. "'Playing for Keeps' is the embodiment of moving forward in honor of the things you love, despite of what critics, naysayers, or anyone else might think. Through it, we've learned that if you believe and stay the course...good things will come. It's only a matter of when."You can also watch the previously released video for "24 Hours" here.
The band has shared three album documentaries for viewers to get to know them better, as well.
