The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Kyle Clifford from injured reserve, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced on Dec. 28.
The 6-2, 211-pound native of Ayr, Ontario appeared in six games earlier this season with the Kings, posting one point (0-1=1), a plus-1 rating and two penalty minutes. He missed three games due to this recent injury.
Selected in the second-round (35th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings, Clifford has appeared in 491 career NHL games posting 85 points (37-48=85) and 632 penalty minutes.
The Kings host the Vegas Golden Knights On Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. at STAPLES Center after the league-wide three-day holiday break. The game will be broadcast on NBCSN and KABC Radio 790.
