DEATH HAGS is releasing the single "Metal Teeth" across streaming platforms, ahead of her debut album with Burger Records, coming in 2018.
DEATH HAGS is the solo project of L.A. musician Lola G (DTCV).
Influenced by post-punk, avant-pop and French chanson, her sound goes from hushed melodies to noise like fuzzy doom pop traveling between worlds.
She has been compared to “Françoise Hardy meets Wire,” Patti Smith and Spacemen 3.
Lola performed shows in the U.S. this November and toured Europe in December as DEATH HAGS.
Her next show in the U.S. is Feb. 24 at Brooklyn Bazaar in New York.
Death Hags will also be a showcasing artist at SXSW 2018.
"Metal Teeth is about personal transformation and women reclaiming their freedom to be angry, strange, loud and dangerous," Lola G said.
