War of Awards, a video game award mega-battle, has announced the latest video game nominees added to this year’s program.
The newest games included in the running for their April 7 event are the recent winners of DICE Awards in their respective categories.
Each of these winning games has been voted by a selected assembly of industry figureheads and seen to be of the highest marks in art, design, writing, performance, and sound.
At this year’s DICE Awards "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" took top spot winning four awards, including the coveted “Game of the Year” title.

Studio MDHR’s "Cuphead" won in three categories, and "Horizon Zero Dawn," PlayerUnknown’s "Battlegrounds," "Snipperclips," and "Lone Echo/Echo Arena" all took home two awards.
Other popular titles to win single awards in specific genre categories included titles such as "Super Mario Odyssey," "Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice," "Nier: Automata," "Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle," and "Injustice 2."

Voting will be conducted using an “Iowa caucus” live debate format on April 7 at 7 p.m. in the Cuttlefish Theatre inside the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Fans can make and track predictions at warofawards.org before each precursor award and as the PAX East finale gets closer.
