Kings Activate Forward Jeff Carter Off of Injured Reserve

The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Jeff Carter from injured reserve, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced on Feb. 24.
Carter has appeared in six games this season, posting three points (0-3=3) and two penalty minutes.
He has missed the last 55 games with a lower-body injury, having not played since Oct. 18 vs. Montreal.
The 33-year-old Carter (born Jan. 1, 1985) is a 6-3, 217-pound native of London, Ontario who has played in 883 games during his NHL career, posting 653 points (339-314=653), a plus-73 rating and 455 penalty minutes.
A two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Kings, Carter has also played for the Philadelphia Flyers and Columbus Blue Jackets during his 13-year NHL career.
