Black Bow Records will release the vinyl edition of ASCENDING INTO SHIMMERING DARKNESS by UK doom merchants Coltsblood on May 1.
Coltsblood has gained a fearsome reputation over the years having been hailed far and wide as “devastating, other-worldly, bleak, horrific, epic and deeply immersive.”
Coltsblood has released two full length albums through Candlelight/Spinefarm Records, "Into The Unfathomable Abyss" (2014) and "Ascending Into Shimmering Darkness" (2017), both produced by Chris Fielding (Winterfylleth, Primordial, Napalm Death, Conan) at Skyhammer Studio with mastering by Greg Chandler (Priory Recording Studios, Esoteric).
Both albums are enrobed with the demented scrawlings of legendary Grief main man Eric C. Harrison.
Having been on a rampage of shows across the UK, Ireland and Europe since 2013, including the legendary Roadburn Festival, North Of The Wall, Doom Over London and Northern Discomfort Festival, Coltsblood continues onwards into 2018 with the release of “Ascending Into Shimmering Darkness” on double gatefold vinyl through Black Bow Records.
