"The Four" host Fergie and judges Meghan Trainor, Sean "Diddy" Combs and DJ Khaled come back to search for another incredible talent and discover contestants have done their research and showcase talents at an incredible new level.
Combs is no stranger to helping up and coming artists and the show gives him an opportunity to see different genres compete head-to-head.
The best part of "The Four" is that hip hop has an opportunity be included, which doesn't usually happen on singing competitions.
Fergie said that this season contestants are more aware of what the judges look for and, since she's the host, she gets the opportunity to see the contestants as they rehearse and she gets excited to see them perform.
Trainor has a different connection with the contestants because she was that person auditioning not too long ago and she looks at the contestants showing so much talent on the stage and wants them all to succeed.
DJ Khaled enjoys the hip hop acts that come on stage, since its where he started. He sees how many of todays top artists started at the same time he did and how it took 25 years to get to this point in his career and he wants all contestants to know that even if they don't get the results they want on the show, they should keep putting out the best performances and keep moving forward.
