Food Matter’s TV has acquired PVOD rights for the award-winning documentary "Sick to Death!" by acclaimed filmmaker Maggie Hadleigh-West.
Screenings of Hadleigh-West's "Sick to Death!," along with her other films – "Player Hating: A Love Story" and "War Zone" – are scheduled throughout the summer in Philadelphia, New York City and New Orleans.
Hadleigh-West will appear at each screening to participate in a Q&A after the film.

In "War Zone," she shines a light on sexual harassment and the connection between the catcalling of women and it’s relationship to rape; "Player Hating: A Love Story" explores the violence of systemic racial oppression in the housing projects that can perpetuate criminal and institutional violence, while "Sick to Death!’s" decries systemic medical violence in the form of medical negligence and corruption which leads to diminished lives and early deaths for hundreds of millions of people.
