"Death Race: Beyond Anarchy" presents another sequel full of action and a cast which includes actor Zach McGowan who was thrilled to be included in a cast which was magnificent.
The cast included Zach McGowan, Danny Glover, Frederick Koehler, Christine Marzano and Danny Trejo.
McGowan said that every cast member – from Glover to Trejo and Marzano – they each brought sometthing unique to the project which made it exciting.
Connor, played by McGowan, is the reluctant hero who has nothing left to lose. it was something mcGowan had always wanted to and the fight training which was quick and concise in a three week span.
McGowan said he showed up ready, he had trained in Ju-jitzu as a kid, some Muy-thai and boxing as well as staying fit, but even then trying for the high kicks of the movie is what he said he most had to train for.
The film is a magnificent action-paced story with imagined brutal battle ready cars.
Each car is created with destruction in mind and make for incredible fast-paced action sequences which bring the the audience some adrenaline pumping scenes.
Any car fans look forward to the big car shows around the U.S. because of the technological advances of the vehicles, but for Death Race fans a new movie means a new way to gear up cars with weapons in creative ways.
McGowan said he would enjoy driving any of the cars, but the police vehicle in the movie just stands out for him because it embodies the franchise, the monster car is fantastic as well and there's scenes which show the creation of the Camaro his character gets to use throughout the film. Even then there is still a fire truck with a harpoon which is well designed.
After a failed attack on inmate and legendary driver, Frankenstein, Black Ops specialist Connor Gibson (Zach McGowan) infiltrates a super-maximum federal prison with one goal - enter the immoral and illegal Death Race and take Frankenstein down. Connor enlists the help of Baltimore Bob (Danny Glover) and Lists (Frederick Koehler), and unexpectedly falls in love with bartending beauty, Jane (Christine Marzano). Connor will have to fight for more than his life in this brutal world of no guards, no rules, no track, and no fear.
