Los Angeles Kings defenseman/assistant captain Drew Doughty has been selected to represent the Pacific Division in the 2019 NHL All-Star Game in San Jose, the National Hockey League announced on January 2, 2019.
The game takes place on January 26, at SAP Center beginning at 5 p.m.
The announcement marks the fifth consecutive NHL All-Star Game selection for Doughty and fifth overall.
Doughty also represented the Kings at the 2018 All-Star Game in Tampa Bay; the 2017 All-Star Game at STAPLES Center; the 2016 All-Star Game in Nashville; and the 2015 All-Star Game in Columbus. He also participated in the 2009 NHL YoungStars Game in Montreal during All-Star Weekend.
Doughty has played in all 41 games for the Kings this season and has 22 points (3-19=22). He leads the Kings in assists and is tied for second in club scoring. He also leads the team in TOI (26:41), which is the most among all NHL skaters (Doughty last season also led the NHL in this category).
