Happy Lunar New Year
The Year of the Pig is in full blast as Universal Studios Hollywood adorns the front gates, puts the center area in full festive Kung Fu Panda gear and brings some of the parks favorites out for some cultural fun.
The Minions bring some family friendly fun and join in the festivities while they pose for photos with park attendees.
Mandarin-speaking Megatron is back for another year of greeting guests, taking photos and making his presence known through the Lunar New Year celebration.
Mr. Ping's Noodles is right at the center of the park for everyone to enjoy. Dishes at the restaurant include Secret Ingredient Stir Fry Noodles, Po's Dumplings, Oogway's Eggrolls, Dragon Warrior Bbq Pork Buns and PB & J Dumplings.
The stir fry is good and one order can easily feed two people, its enjoyable and filling. It can be ordered with beef, chicken or vegetables.
The Dragon Warrior Bbq Pork Buns are delicious sweet and savory. Each order comes with a serving of two Bbq Pork Buns.
Mr. Ping is also available to chat with and take photos.
What better way to enjoy the Dragon Warrior Training Show, which kids can join performers on stage for, at the Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda Jade Palace Performance Stage.
Audiences are encouraged to get up from their seats and follow along with the performance.
For more Kung Fu Panda fun, Master Po and Tigress are available between shows for photo opps.
Another Kung Fu Panda attraction is the Dreamworks theater Kung Fu Panda attraction located across from Universal Plaza.
Hello Kitty joins in the festivities as photo opps with a Lunar Year inspired Hello Kitty.
There's something for everyone to enjoy at Universal Studios Hollywood with Hogsmeade and the Harry Potter experience, as well as all the regular rides and The Walking Dead attraction to fill up an entire day of fun for the whole family.
