Host Gaby Espino and Celebrity Chefs Claudia Sandoval, Ennio Carota and Benito Molina Welcome 30 Kids for a Surprise-filled Episode Where the Contestant’s Culinary Creativity Must Satisfy the Kids’ Appetite
More challenges, emotions and confrontations will arise in Telemundo’s "MasterChef Latino" kitchen when host Gaby Espino and celebrity chefs Claudia Sandoval, Ennio Carota and Benito Molina welcome an adorable group of 30 kids, who will be the guests of honor on June 9 at 7 p.m./6c.
In this exciting episode, contestants will not only face the Mystery Box and an unknown ingredient for most of them, but they will also have to face the most honest and demanding judges of all: children.
With the guidance of Chef Johana Clavel, who specializes in healthy recipes, the contestants take on the difficult task of preparing nutritious sweets, that appear and taste good enough to satisfy the kids’ demanding appetites.
The team that succeeds will be saved from the elimination test.

- DUBRASKA WAWI, the 47-year-old Venezuelan from Houston, Texas with a refined and diverse palate within the culinary arts.
- DENNIS ESCALANTE, the 57-year-old Mexican from Los Angeles, California who learned to cook alongside his grandmothers and aunts.
- NANCY ORANTES, the 30-year-old extroverted Salvadoran from Los Angeles, California, who has distinguished herself as a leader in the competition.

- MARÍA LUISA BALBUENA, the 38-year-old Mexican single mother from Los Angeles, California, who goes in search of her own adventure and dream.
- NOELIÁN ORTIZ, the 35-year-old charismatic Puerto Rican, from Canóvanas, who trains beauty queens on how to develop self-confidence.
- KING SAM CHANG, the 26-year-old Venezuelan from Miami, whose dream is to have his own Venezuelan-Asian restaurant.
- JAVIER SEAÑEZ, the 36-year-old Mexican living in Puerto Rico who wants to show the world that Mexican cuisine does not consist only of tacos.
- SARA ORDOÑEZ, the Colombian 33-year-old cancer survivor who has become a mentor to help transform other people's lives through food.
From Chef Ennio Carota’s team:
- AURELIO ROJAS, the 26-year-old Dominican mixologist from the Bronx, New York, who developed a passion for cooking after traveling and discovering other cultures around the world.
- LAUREN ARBOLEDA, the 28-year-old Colombian author of "Pregnancy from the Heart" and "Food from the Heart" blog, in which she shares delicious healthy recipes and tips for a better life.
- DAVID NOCHEBUENA, the 52-year-old Mexican from Miami, who is a technology engineer and entrepreneur, considered an insatiable researcher and expert in international cuisine.
