Controversial and thought-provoking short film "The Dreamer" makes its official premiere at the New York Lift-Off Film Festival Online 2019 on June 24 via vimeo.com/ondemand/newyorkliftoff2.
Veteran Actor, Alejandro Patiño (Papi Chulo, Netflix's Gente-fied) stars in the film and shares producing credit with Writer/Director, Angel Gracia.
The film will run online for one week through July 1.

As the man grows increasingly irate and confrontational, he seems to become the very embodiment of Trump's conclusion that, "when Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems."
As our understanding of who this man is grows, it becomes increasingly clear that building some sort of wall to protect the American people from his kind may actually be a good idea.
“As a Spanish immigrant living in USA, this short is both very personal and a very universal commentary about today's socio-political environment,” said writer/director/producer, Angel Gracia.
“We are exited to be able to share our work with the world on this online platform which provides access to everyone no matter where they may be,” Patiño said.The New York Lift-Off Film Festival Online 2019 showcases the aspiring work of talented filmmakers from all over the world.
"The Dreamer" is one among 92 shorts competing in the online Festival.
Viewers may purchase the Shorts 2 series by clicking HERE to access all 92 shorts, which will be streaming online for one week.
Viewers are encouraged to watch the films during the one-week online Festival run and vote for their top two favorites.
Voting ends June 30 at 11:00 p.m. (BST).
The online Festival runs in tandem with the live New York Lift-Off Festival, which runs June 24 through June 30 at Stuart Cinema & Café in Brooklyn, New York.
