Japanese girls rock band BRATS performed their first live American concert at Anime Los Angeles on January 10, the same day that their new digital single “Excuser” was released on streaming platforms internationally.
BRATS delivered a 13-song set to the excited fans at the Ontario Convention Center, performing the newly-revealed track along with anime and film songs “Ainikoiyo” (To Be Hero) and “Nounai Shoukyo Game” (Slavemen) as well as YouTube hits “Doudatte yokatta” and “Kimarigoto.”
Vocalist Rei Kuromiya spoke to the audience in both English and Japanese during the concert, and the crowd brought the band back to the stage for an encore of the upcoming hard rock song “Ms. Downer.”
BRATS later spent over an hour meeting fans for autographs after the show, followed by a Q&A and second autograph session on January 11.
