Following news that this year’s Comic-Con has been cancelled, CamSoda has formally extended an offer to stream the event on its site.
CamSoda already has a robust infrastructure in place for large scale content streaming and this month announced the launch of CamSodaLive, a free service that allows fledgling artists – musicians, comedians, etc. – to perform live on CamSoda since their typical venues – concert halls, arenas, stadiums, etc. – have closed because of the lockdown.
“We hate to see this iconic, annual pop culture celebration get cancelled,” Daryn Parker, VP, CamSoda, said. “At CamSoda, we’re dedicated to helping those who have been affected by the pandemic in every way possible – and we’d love to lend Comic-Con a hand.”
