No Echo is hosting the premiere for "Symphony Of Swag," the new single from German instrumental outfit GAFFA GHANDI.
The track comes from the band's debut album Artificial Disgust, inbound for release through their friends at the eclectic Exile On Mainstream later this month.
GAFFA GHANDI's proper first full-length comes out swinging with equal parts psychedelic rock and melodic/progressive post-hardcore and carrying more hooks than a bait shop.
If you regularly visit records by Torche, The Fucking Champs, Pelican, Kylesa, and similar artists, check out Artificial Disgust immediately.
Bassist Lucas Kazzer said, "'Symphony Of Swag' is the bastard of a Body Count beat hung up by a Mastodonian stranglehold fixed with some Iron Maiden handcuffs. Add some Gentle Giant thinking, and you get a terrific 'rifferno' which was baptized in fire during nearly a decade of tearing stages apart."
No Echo writes, "With its members split between the cities of Dresden and Berlin, GAFFA GHANDI make instrumental music that pulls from a multitude of influences. Describing their sound isn't easy, but to No Echo's ears, you can hear shades of everything from progressive rock to NWOBHM to Shellac-like post-rock to the kind of stuff you would hear on the soundtrack to one of Alejandro Jodorowsky's surreal-fantasy flicks."

Exile On Mainstream will release Artificial Disgust on LP, CD, and digital platforms on April 24, the LP joined with a download code, and the CD and digital versions bearing a bonus track from the archives. Place orders HERE.
“Artificial Disgust” was recorded by Jan Oberg at Hidden Planet Studio, Robin Ravn at FKN Recording Studio, Alan Bittner at Frieders Livingroom, Georg Edert at Gaffa Ghandi Rehearsal Space, Torsten Lang at Torstens Livingroom, and Niklas Wenzel at Virtuose Vibes Studio.
The record was mixed and mastered by Torsten Lang and is completed with photography and design by Maren Michaelis and layout by Benjamin Butter.
The new LP was meant to see release in conjunction with GAFFA GHANDI's participation in Exile On Mainstream's RoadShow 2020 mini-tour including Treedeon, Darsombra, Kristian Harting, and Tourette Boys, but the trek has been disbanded due to the ongoing worldwide coronavirus situation.
Watch for the band to reschedule new performances once the situation is contained.
