LISTEN TO “ALL THE THINGS”
Now available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers via Songs & Daughters – the female-driven label Galyon partnered with Big Loud Records to found in 2019 – the empowering tune features breezy Country-Pop sonics and a soul-feeding theme, a celebration of the indispensable quirks which make each of us unique.
Applauding “All The Things” as a “sunny midtempo that strings all the positives over three minutes,” American Songwriter further raves, “Simple, yet cutting to the heart of Hutchinson’s appeal, the song gets to the core of who women want to be today.”
Applauding “All The Things” as a “sunny midtempo that strings all the positives over three minutes,” American Songwriter further raves, “Simple, yet cutting to the heart of Hutchinson’s appeal, the song gets to the core of who women want to be today.”
That big-picture view dovetails right into the May 11 debut of the Living With Landyn Podcast – itself a spin-off of Hutchinson’s popular Living With Landyn blog which takes nearly half-a-million followers deeper into her relatable-yet-aspirational world.
Described as “the girlfriend you never knew you needed,” the down-to-earth lifestyle authority asked her friend Galyon to write a song to serve as the podcast’s soundtrack and Galyon in turn enlisted GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter and Americana artist, Lori McKenna, as her co-writer.
The lyrics are inspired by Hutchinson and her Living With Landynbrand, based in Nashville and founded in 2014.
“As a creative, I am most alive when I’m trying my hand at making things that feel outside the box for me. And the same follows suit for Songs & Daughters,” Galyon said. “We believe there is more space for music discovery than ever before and releasing a theme song for a podcast is the perfect example of that. Lori and I wrote this song on my couch to surprise our friend, Landyn, on a whim because it felt like fun. So, it’s no surprise that’s how the song turned out: whimsical and fun.”Hutchinson now seeks to highlight great ideas and even greater minds with her Living With Landyn Podcast.
She’ll go in-depth on products she can’t live without and also interview intriguing personalities like LWL’s Creative Operations Director, her mother, and famous friends – including Galyon, who will appear on the podcast at a later date.
