Upcoming film, “SWEETNESS IN THE BELLY” releases on on demand May 8. Previously the film was set for a theatrical release on May 8 as well.
The film stars Dakota Fanning (Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, War Of The Worlds), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman, Watchmen), Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), Wunmi Mosaku (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).
The film is directed by Zeresenay Berhane Mehari (Difret).
A moving story of Lilly (Dakota Fanning), a child abandoned in Africa as a child. Lily is forced to flee Ethiopia for England when civil war breaks.
She befriends Amina (Wunmi Mosaku), an Ethiopian refugee who has fled the same war.
Together they begin a mission to reunite people with their scattered families.
Based on the novel by Camilla Gibb, script by Laura Phillips, Sweetness In The Belly.
