W.I.L.S.D.M is a short film written and directed by Chloe Owens. This unique and colorful film breaks down a simple stereotype: that all women need in life is a man to satisfy her physically. W.I.L.S.D.M challenges this universal misinformed ideology in a humorous way. W.I.L.S.D.M will screen on Thursday, October 19th, at 2PM at the Regal, LA Live, 1000 West Olympic Blvd.
When Mia feels low and needs someone to connect with, she reaches out to Jim; a handsome heartthrob. The problem is, Mia isn’t built to handle all of Jim’s manliness and goes through uncomfortable sex in order to receive what she is really after: the cuddling. Inevitably Mia goes through a series of psychological reactions, as she tries to understand that undermining inner voice that prevents her from true love. When an opportunity presents itself to Mia for a new romantic partner, will Mia’s fear prevent her from taking a chance?
Written and directed by Chloe Owens, the short film stars Perveen Singh and Victor Laurenz.
