“Dirty Towel” recently had its World Premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Festival, with LA Shorts marking the film’s California Premiere only a month after its New York debut.
‘Dirty Towel’ follows Charlie, who, at a mere six years old, is taught by her mother that having sex makes you dirty.
Twelve years later, teenage Charlie grapples with feelings of shame and guilt after having sex for the first time.
While desperately trying to hide it from her mom during their Sunday errands, Charlie navigates her conflicting emotions of generational shame and her own self-worth, ultimately leading her to question whether losing her virginity is really a loss at all.
